As a boy mom, I’m glad both Tim and Gus are able to confidently show their emotions, telling the world that this is a normal thing for males. This is just one (little) step to end toxic masculinity.
How great it would be if the Democratic messaging whizzes can use Republican heartlessness toward young Gus Walz to decimate MAGA in a video closely paralleling what attorney Joseph Welch did to Senator Joseph McCarthy during the Army-McCarthy hearings in June 1954: "Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness. Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator. You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency?"

Indeed, Ann Coulter has been rightly criticized for her hurtful comments aimed at Gus, and there is a larger backlash as well.
And I guess Ann being Ann, we’re not going to see any sort of apology.
